History of 0G Network

Nowadays, the Internet is so accessible that we can access the Internet from anywhere and at any time around the world. But this journey wasn’t so easy, actually, the 0G network was introduced in the 1940s. At that time, radio signals were used to facilitate only special services. And the service was not meant for the common public.

This network was then called 0G. In 1946, the Bell system was the first to publicly introduce the 0G service in the United States. It was called a car phone and could be carried from one place to another. This 0G was using IMTS (improved mobile telephone service) technology. This network had one major disadvantage that it was not possible to use for communicating with people from a greater distance.

History Of 1G and 2G Network

In 1979, a Japanese company NTT was the first who introduce this 1G network. More than 80 radio towers were installed, which made it possible and allowed long-distance communication at that time. However, due to the lack of technology, the voice could not be heard with clarity.

In 1991, the second-generation 2G network was first launched in Finland. The 2G network allowed us to communicate from one country to another. In 1992, the SMS (short message service) service was launched.

Then, in 1995, the GPRS (general packet radio service) service was introduced, through which we could send multimedia like music, images, etc. And EDGE (enhanced data rates for GMS evolution) was released in 1997.

This gave us the first opportunity to use the Internet service on mobile phones. In 1999, Nokia, one of the oldest popular companies in the world, released its 3210 phone, which has no antenna and can be easily transported.

History Of 3G, 4G, and 5G Network

3G Services was launched in 1998 by NTT Docomo Company, where the WCDMA(Wideband Code Division Multiplexing Access) service was used and then Samsung, Motorola, and LG launched their own 3G cellular phones. 

Later, in 2009, LTE was introduced, which is known as 4G. 4G was 10 times faster than the 3G network. At the time, there used to be no 4G phone that allowed us to use LTE services. Samsung launched the first 4G smartphone on the market in 2010. And in 2014, they released the Samsung Galaxy, which supported LTE. 

And currently, the service providers are working on the 5G network, judging by the speed, 5G has been claimed to remain the fastest network. The 5G network is built on the basis of WWWW (wireless world wide web).

Soon we will have the opportunity to use the 5G service. Where 5G has not yet been launched in some countries, peoples are a step ahead and already have started jobs on the 6G network, and it is said that 6G will be 50 times faster than the 5G network.
